Lynnette Haynes is an award winning, locally and nationally recognized early childhood education expert with over thirty years of experience. Lynnette has served as the director of five successful and highly profitable child care centers with locations throughout the Washington D.C. metro-area. After graduating from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Lynnette became an elementary school teacher in the North Carolina and Arlington, Virginia public school-system.

 

After fifteen years, Lynnette left the school system to start, with assistance from her husband, The Haynes Academy in 1987.Twenty-six years, and five centers later, Lynnette is ready to transition into creating centers based solely on her own extensive experience and vision.

 

Lynnette also currently serves on the board of the Prince George’s County Child Care Association, has served as an adjunct professor and instructor at local universities and colleges, and holds a masters degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of the District of Columbia.
